TheGIGER MD® Booster Impulse
The Booster Impulse is a GIGER MD® therapy instrument that produces a symmetrical, gait-like movement. Therein, a special emphasis is on the supporting leg phase with weight transfer. This is central to restoring the walking ability of patients after injury or disease.
The training with the Booster Impulse is characterized by the following features:
- All four limbs are kinematically connected to each other
- Pain-free and without jerky movements that are unpleasant for the patient
- Harmonic movements in a dynamic equilibrium
- Continuing active and passive movements; CAPM ® (continuous active and passive motion)
With the aid of the special GIGER MD® therapy software and an LED display with a computer connection, the patient is aware of his training history, current status and progress (Combofit is delivered without this software).
