TheGIGER MD®Booster
The Booster is an advanced instrument of GIGER MD® therapy (The booster and medical device are both ways of executing GIGER MD therapy), which produces a symmetrical, gait-like movement. A special emphasis is on the supporting leg phase with weight transfer, as this is central to the recovery of the walking ability.
For the patient, the training with the Booster is characterized by the following features:
- All four limbs are kinematically connected to each other
- Pain-free and without jerky movements that are unpleasant for the patient
- Harmonic movements in a dynamic equilibrium
- Continuing active and passive movements; CAPM ® (continuous active and passive motion)
- Extremely high controllability of the rotational motions and thus a high physiological compatibility
The special GIGER MD® therapy software provides information on the training progress. For this purpose, the Booster is equipped with an LED display with a PC connection.
